2013 Spring Canton Fair
Overview of the Canton Fair: China Import and Export Commodities Fair, also known as the Canton Fair, was founded in the spring of 1957 and is held in Guangzhou every spring and autumn. It has a history of 53 years so far. It is a comprehensive international trade event with the longest history, the highest level, the largest scale, the most complete variety of commodities, the largest number of visitors and the widest distribution of countries and regions, the best transaction effect and the best reputation. The Canton Fair export exhibition area is composed of 48 trading groups, from more than 20,000 foreign trade companies, production enterprises, scientific research institutes, foreign-invested/wholly-owned enterprises and private enterprises with good credit and strong strength across the country.
The Canton Fair mainly focuses on import and export trade, with flexible and diverse trade methods. In addition to traditional sample transactions, it also holds online trade fairs to carry out various forms of economic and technological cooperation and exchanges, as well as commodity inspection, insurance, transportation, advertising, consulting and other business activities. Businesspeople from all over the world gather in Guangzhou to exchange business information and enhance friendship.
